well I will start off by saying sorry i will post some photos as I progress but I am in the middle of a move. via still in las vegas... but my plans are 240 display with a 125 gal sump out of a tank bought of someone in las vegas then a 100gal display possible fish only if not a softy tank all t5s probly 8 bulbs retro fit. with a 60 gal sump the 240 will be bare bottom and possible rock wall to hide the back which I will have to build when I get there (washington)

probly going with 4 x24" VHO for supplement still looking into this portion
brs media reactor for GFO

this will be a sps dom tank heavy fish stocking shoals of anthias and lots of tangs and a set of clowns either picasso or vangaugh which ever I can find at the time I will post photos of some of the equipment tomorrow if I get a chance some is already packed away........

I will post photos Internet and pc packed up for shipping it will be the first time moving up there. I am going. To love it there it is a change from my normal las Vegas sun lol. I squires more pumps for my tank now I have great friends here in las Vegas. So now I have all my pumps I need now just my reflectors and a stand and building will continue. I will try to keep up with my phon until I get my work laptop going I have packed up also.

If you are trying to get away from the sun you have come to the rite place. Although lately it has been really sunny... for Seattle standards.

This may sound strange coming from someone you have never spoken to, but if you need a hand with the build/set-up let me know. I would love to help! Mostly for selfish reasons: I have a 20gal nano and am fascinated by large reefs. But there is also that small, nagging, altruistic vice in my head I try to silence with debauchery and booze. Most of the time it works, but every once in a while I wind up doing something nice. What are you gona to do?

sorry it has been a while since I posted I was in the process of moving and staying in the 4 seasons down town now I have a house with a solid foundation no structural issues. I found a place in federal way off of exit 142a and I will take you up on that offer I will need some help as I suck and building a stands lol I am now getting all the rest of my equipment and picking up a qt tank to start qting my fishes that I want to buy and some corals. it is hard as all my buddies that build me everything are in vegas. so shipping is really going to take its toll on me. tomorrow I will get photos up of the tanks and what equipment I have thus far. and I can't wait to get my skimmer up and running as this one is a beast, for a DIY by my buddy Lee. this is will be a nice project and more equipment will I will be getting over time I have most I just need the rest to get me going as in ordering all my seal kits for my pumps and oceans motions which are still in question. and I have a uniqe plan how I want to run these systems together which is

the 240 main display bare bottom off the side to flow to the 100 then down to the sump and pumped back into the 240.

240 sps dom w/ high flow
100 softie tank low flow also a display/ fuge with a sand bed maybe.
sump looking to get another 100 or 200 tank to build one......

Looks like a crazy fun build. A 240 with a 100 off to the side will give you the best of both worlds.

and I have nothing else to do with this hundred and I can keep my wifes soft corals that flow in the current, with a happy wife I am free to buy all the corals and fish I want lol. it should be intresting to build a stand for. asny wood workers in here I need a basic stand no sides or doors just basic it will be an inwall sooner or later.

ok more equipment just arrived today ballast and reflectors sea swirls are in the mail. good to have good friends in vegas willing to shop stuff to me. things I will start on is the stand I lucked out I have 3 neighbors all do wood work. I will have them build the skin for me I got a price for a stand built out of steal I will head to a body shop and weld it up myself. and save 1200.00 lol i knew i should of had that built before I left vegas. but I will have to stop being lazy and build it myself. I have to get photos of the tank and equipment as it rolls in from vegas........ ordering a new ro di unit. any recommendations I like spectra pure good systems I had a 25 a day one before worked like a champ any thoughts on others?

local neighbor is going to do the skins for me. I have to build a stand I wanted to go wood as all the sumps will not be under the tank anyways so space wasn't a issue! puls it gets me in a shop to terrorize them lol. and show them a insurance guy nows how to work on cars and weld also.

thats the one I think i saw you buy right have you hooked it up yet. I know I am going to have to get alot of tubs just to make water. for all my tanks 500 gallons +or- 20 or so gals.

Nope not hooked up yet! Waiting on my tank to get built, am working on finishing my stand and other things to get ready before the tank gets here......
