Yeah I had to buy one! my pressure here is 40 PSI max and when you turn on something it drops to 30!

I baerly got finished moving couches that I just bought my wife (happy wife happy life) I will clean out my man cave and get all the equipment together. and take more photos I have to find my other box with my pumps and stuff in them. I bought some alum. for the light rack today I will head back to home depo and get the rest I forgot the rivit gun lol and drille bit. I will take pictures for that process also....

yeah me not living in vegas any more it is hard for me to find friends out here that can or will weld alumin. and I am too cheap to buy a welder for such a small project. I will rivit it together home depot sells all the angle alumi. need a saw, drill, tape, and rivit gun I was going to paint it but decided against that Idea.

You just going to leave it bare alum?

yeah just bare it will be high enough off the tank to not worry about corrosion or anything.... 400w lamps on a 24 tall tank a little over kill lol

Cool! I havent decided on mine yet, Each LED module is equivelant to a 400W MH so a tad overkill here for my 24" high tank as well

ok all I am going to place the order for my live rock any body need some if so you are looking about 125 shipped for a 50lb box or figi premium and also branch I have 8 boxes that will shipped to the airport next week. ok I decided to go with a Puratex (spelling may be off) 100gpd rodi I will add another di chamber as I have a spare. comes with pump and all looked online @ marine depo 299.99 @ barrier reef 279.99 i felt this was a better deal as the pump is attached already all other kinds of gadges on it also. I will search for tubs now I will be on vacation end of this week and will do alot of searching for tubs and containers.

yeah the In80 i have it running on my nano for now. all my rock will be in this week then off to the garage it will go to cycle the rock I just got a mag12 for the rock for flow I want to shower the rock instead of having it sit in water. with a tray under it. I like this vertex though great little skimmer started sucking muck out of the tank as soon as I turned it on after I have a nice shot of over flow lol then tuned it for the tank and to skim dry.

as for the big daddy skimmer I have to get in the garage and look for my diy red dragon I have another volute I want to add a laguna 2500 on it instead of a 1500 to see what this bad boy can do.
